Here at Darley Dance Productions we know that without the hard work and dedication of our dancers then there would be no company at all and we value each and every one of them.

We are open to all professional dancers over the age of 18 and welcome performers at all different stages of their careers. We have dancers who are just starting out and trying to work through the challenges of the industry, all the way through to dancers who are beginning to look at their options towards the end of their performing career. – All fantastic and valued members of our team!
To become part of Darley Dance Productions all of our entertainers must first apply with their CV and headshot. We hold auditions at least once a year (usually around MArch and July) and dancers who we think are right for what we’re doing from their application are then invited to audition. We audition and meet in person all of our dancers before we hire them as not only do we want to make sure that they will fit into our team but we also want to make sure that we are hiring the right dancers for the events that we have booked in.
Some of our dancers are part-time professional dancers and others work full time in the industry but all of them are not only talented artists but also friendly and supportive of each other.
Darley Dance Productions was created by a dancer so we like to think that we offer all the support that we can to our performers. We always rehearse for our events together as a team and work hard to make sure our troupes are slick and presented well. We also encourage our dancers to get to know each other, to network and to chat. This is so valuable as being a freelance dancer can be tough and it’s important to pull together and help each other wherever we can.
We know that our dancers took on this career because they wanted to make a living doing something they love so we want to do all we can to ensure that they are well looked after and enjoy working for us. If our dancers are relaxed backstage and having a great time then they will perform better, enjoy the events more and give it their all.
